About Me

About Me

Hello Inter-webz, I am Chad Albritton, gamer extraordinaire... minus the extraordinary part. I am a Communication and Media Studies graduate from Stetson University and currently reside in sunny Central Florida. Growing up, I have always been entwined with an amazing group of friends and family and that is no more true than with my wonderful grandmother and mother who are working hard to help put that bacon on the table.

My work experience includes everything from the fun to the mundane. My first work experience lasted 6 years at a skating rink in Central Florida. Here I started DJing part time and was able to court many females ;). Alright.. Alright.. the main part of the job that I loved was the fact that I could interact with people, not in a setting where I was a inferior but where I was on equal footing. Being able to bring new skating events to the table and watch them come into fruition. My most recent job is serving tables at an undisclosed locale, which is a nice income of money for a college student but I hope will be just that.

My passions include world politics- foreign policy, technology and the bi-product of gaming. I love talking with others and learning through experience both in real life and in the virtual. You can catch me in my favorite games under the alias of Chuina.

Some of my favorite games are as follows:
Everquest
Everquest II
Rift
Planetside 2
Command and Conquer
The Uncharted Series
Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 (Not a fanboi, but you have to admit that the first one rocked)
Rise of Nations
Total War Series

As far as my MMORPG rapport goes, I have played the following: Age of Conan, Anarchy Online, Dark Ages of Camelot, D&D Online, Everquest, Everquest II, Free Realms, Guild Wars 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings Online, Pirates of The Burning Sea, Planetside 2, Rift, Second Life, Warhammer Online.

I have been in the following guilds over time: Knightwolves (EQ2), Acolytes (Rift+AoC), and The Black Widow Company (Planetside 2, Go TR!).

The Purpose of the Blog

Attending a liberal arts college means a lot of writing, so much that your hand falls off even from typing. The challenges my professors have given to me has sort of shown a little light to a possible passion of writing. This blog is meant to help me explore writing, marketing, and online interactions to simply see where it takes me. This blog is also simply a place for me to write down my thoughts on issues as they occur, a sort of personal yearbook if you might categorize it that way.

I hope you will join me on this journey, let's see where it takes us!
